How much is that dragon in the dungeon?
The one with the long spiky tail?
I beg you, don't hit him with your truncheon.
I do hope that dragon's for sale.
I must take a trip to Transylvania,
And from there I'm going to hell.
I'm giving a talk on pyromania.
I do hope this dragon flies well.
I've had a few prowlers at my castle.
I can't leave their bodies about.
A dragon cleans up without the hassle,
So villagers never find out.
I do hope this one is fire-breathing.
My crypt is so drafty and cold.
He'd be just the thing for central heating.
And they're quite efficient, I'm told.
How much is that dragon in the dungeon?
The one with the long spiky tail?
Oh dear, I see you've become its luncheon.
I do hope that dragon's for sale!
I wrote this for my son David in his trick-or-treating days Whew! Some of those rhymes were a challenge (like "Transylvania"). :-)
